A few additional shops are located outside of these areas that are worth checking out; however, you will also likely want to drive to these instead of walking. I have always found it a source of extreme embarrassment that that slop shop is presented to visitors as emblematic of Pittsburgh food. You left out Salonika Imports located in the outskirts of the Strip. They are a Greek market and also sell delicious food and pastries. Naturally, several of the best have chosen to call the Strip District their home.

International and Specialty Grocery Stores One of the most unique aspects of the Strip District is that it is home to Pittsburgh's international grocery community.
